TUESDAY DAYTIME EVENTS - 2008
* Events marked with an asterisk (*) are State Championships and receive red
masterpoints with a weighting factor of 5.0. (Normal red point sessions have a
weighting factor of 2.5.)
A twenty session State Championship eclectic event. Entry is automatic upon
playing twelve or more sessions. Your best twelve scores (at least four of
which must be with different partners) are averaged to calculate your final
percentage. Prizes will be awarded.

A 9-session eclectic pairs event. Entry is automatic upon playing 5 or more
sessions with the same partner. Your 5 best scores are averaged to calculate
your final percentage. Trophies will be awarded to the top placed pair that
does not contain a Grandmaster.

This event qualifies teams to the Metropolitan Region Final at the North Shore
Bridge Club on 21 September, 2008. Two teams from this regional final will
qualify to the State Open Teams Final on 12-14 December.

One seventh of the field will qualify to the Metropolitan Regional Final at the
NSWBA on 11 & 12 October, 2008. Four teams from this final will qualify to
the National Final. Gold masterpoints will be awarded for all matches.

A four session daytime State Championship event. You must play all four
sessions. Prizes will be awarded in all masterpoint rankings.

A 9-session eclectic singles event. Entry is automatic. Your 3 best scores (each
of which must be with a different partner) are averaged to calculate your final
percentage. A trophy will be awarded to the highest-scoring non-Grandmaster.

A 5-session eclectic singles event. Entry is automatic. Your 4 best scores are
averaged to calculate your final percentage. Prizes will be awarded in all
masterpoint rankings.
