Thank you Marcia

Following the conclusion of the 2016 Spring Nationals, Marcia Scudder will shortly be retiring from the convener role after 7 years. The NSWBA would like to thank both Marcia and John Scudder for their hard work over this period as well as that of many other volunteers who help with the tournament (with particular thanks to Inez Glanger).

During the tournament the NSWBA chairman Julian Foster presented some gifts and tokens of appreciation to Marcia and John.

The NSWBA is grateful to Mike Prescott who has agreed to take on the convening role from 2017. Mike worked with Marcia and John this year which should facilitate a smooth handover. The event will remain at Canterbury racecourse for at least the next two years.
