The State Mixed Pairs Championship will be held on the weekend of May 25-26 at the NSWBA.
Pairs that have not qualified via an affiliated club will be accepted at a cost of $110 per pair.
The Autumn Swiss Pairs Congress on Sunday May 26 is open to all players. (Players in the State Mixed Pairs Championship on Saturday 25 May who do not make the Final are entitled to free entry to this event).
The Seniors Interstate Teams Selection was held on the weekend of May 18-19 at the NSWBA. The winning team was the BLOOM team - Martin Bloom, George Bilski, Dennis Zines, Tom Moss.
The top 3 pairs in the Youth Interstate Team Trials held on Sunday May 19 at the NSWBA were James Ferguson - Edward Burrowes, Alan Stoneham - Stephen Guo, Natasha Jacobs - Tomar Libman.
The next Teacher Training Programme Workshop will be held at the Orange Bridge Club on June 22-23. This is a free workshop for teachers or those who are interested in becoming teachers. Details are in the flyer below.
Ed Barnes will present a course of beginners lessons in July at the NSWBA aimed specifically at students in the 12‐19 years age bracket.
The Australian Bridge Directors Association is seeking an Editor for the quarterly ABDA Bulletin.
The Bulletin is an electronic and hard copy members only publication of around 24 A4 pages covering matters of relevance and interest to Australasian (Zone 7) Bridge Directors. Non-members of ABDA may access to a previous sample version by emailing abda@abf.com.au. A negotiated payment will be made for final copy of each Bulletin produced.

...lessThe NSWBA runs a number of events at State Championship level during the year. If you play in these events you have the chance to receive masterpoints at up to double the level awarded in other red point events.
This year a number of new State Championship events are being run by the North Shore Bridge Club.
Players from all clubs are welcome to play in any of the State events at the NSWBA and the NSBC.
