The president of the ABF has written a letter about the Workers Compensation Insurance requirements for all clubs who have paid employees. The letter can be found on the ABF website on the Insurances page.
The ABF Management Committee has been dealing with TBIB Insurance Brokers very closely over the past few years, to the benefit of associations, clubs and players alike across Australia in the bridge playing family.
Our most recent initiative is to have TBIB source an insurance policy that will protect all of the voluntary workers who provide services to their state bodies, clubs and tournament personnel.
Following receipt of a very competitive quotation, the ABF Management Committee agreed to fund the policy from general revenue.
To find the Certificate of Currency for this policy together with a draft letter of cancellation that can be used by those organisations who currently carry this insurance in order to claim a refund on their existing policy go the Insurances page on the ABF website.
